We will have a club meeting at the field at 6:30 pm on September 2nd.  The Southern Rotary Classic is right arond the corner so please try to attend.

Rob is in the process of performing some work on our website and we are adding a section concerning mowing.  We will have a list of the membership and when it will be your turn to mow.  Ed is doing a great job with taking care of it this year and the addition of the list on the website should help keep everyone informed who's next on the list.  Stay tuned.

You might want to check out the Radio Control Helicopter section, page 139, of the August edition of Model Aviation Magazine.  Terry submitted an article concening the helicopter event that was published this month.  It was very informative.  Thanks to Mark Fadely for featuring our event and to Terry for submitting it.

Our next big event is the 22nd Annual Southern Rotary Classic September 19th through the 21st. We are expecting a big turnout with lots of fun activities planned. Last years event is still being talked about in the heli community. We had many top pilots from all around the world. This year is shaping upgreat as well. Terry has been promoting the 2008 to many of the top pilots and already has several big name pilots ready to attend. Hope to see you there!
