Hello Everyone! Weldon Freeman asked me to post the flier for the 2009 Southern Rotary Classic, so here it is!

Well Christmas is almost here and I hope that you've gotten all of you shopping done.  2008 is nearly history and 2009 is right around the corner.  There was quite a bit accomplished in 2008 with many improvements made to the club facility.  A new mower, an improved parking lot and a new refrigerator just to mention a few.  All of our club members should be proud of the work that they have done to accomplish these improvements.  With a new club administration taking office in January we will be off to a great start for 2009.  Thanks for all of your help.  I hope that each and everyone of you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Thanks to all who voted and to those who were able to attend the meeting this month.  I know that next year will be a great year and I'm looking forward to it.  There will be a dinner somewhere in January for all club members and their family.  Lisa is in charge of putting this together so stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.

Due to the Presidential Election our club meeting date has been changed to Thursday November the 6th at 6:30 at the Lake Board Building.  This will be our election night for our new officers for the 2009 year.  If you can't be in attendance there are ballots at our field so that you will be able to vote for your choice of candidate.
